The international Sluitingsprijs in Oostmalle is the final race of the most important belgian cyclocross series, the bpost Bank Troffee. But not only that, like every year it is the final race of the international cross calendar as well. And therefore, most of the top riders came to the military air-field of Malle, to compete a last time for this season.

Beeing a mixture of open sand and a wood, which alternate a couple of times during the lap, the course reveals as a really fast but still challenging and diversified track.
Bright sunshine and temperatures like spring made this years edition of the race quite different from last year, when snow covered the whole track.
