Cross Rund um das Reiterwaldstadion – Vechta

As every year roundabout the change of years, germans cross elite assembles in Vechta for one of the most importan races of the „Deutschland Cup“. Beeing not far away from the national championships this race in on of the last chances to test form and to check the cometitors for the national titles.

This report is available in german wording only for now, but here are some pictures from this event.

Emsdetten

The track could have been more interesting for sure, but on the other hand it was the first time the RSG Emsdetten was the organiser of a cross race. I think the course will improve over the next years.

The race lead around an corn-field which had been harvested some time ago. The most imporant higlight was the short excursion crossing a playground of beach-volleyball. The track was extremely fast, and was more suitable for passionate road cyclist than real cross experts.

For the fotographer, there were not so many exiting places to take shots, but I still manages some good ones.

LVM Rheine 2013/14

For the last two years, the course for this regional championship has been located on a moto-cross course in the north of Rheine. This year the race was brought back to the original location in the woods around Kiärkpädken in Elte.

In previous years, this track has been quite muddy but this year it was mainly dry and so we did see some races beeing quite fast.

Just having mostly recovered from the rib contusion that i got from the last race 3 weeks ago, I went to Lohne to get back into racing.
During the examination of the course, I got my next crash leading to a small cut in the face and a bad headache. So no race today, but just more time to take photos
